Experts tell us that in the developed world about 40% of the adult population will have problems with hemorrhoids at some time in their lives. And so, if you are having problems with hemorrhoids, don’t feel that you are all alone in your suffering. Actually, you’ve got oodles of company!
Hemorrhoids are not contagious, they are environmental in origin, although there are some genetic influences. To avoid getting Hemorrhoids you need to change the things in your environment that would cause them. This means, primarily, that you need to eat a high-fiber diet and avoid sitting for long times without getting up and moving around.
If you are currently suffering from hemorrhoids it would be best to find a best treatment for hemorrhoids that leads to healing hemorrhoids and is part of or contributes to your final, total, permanent cure.
Logically then, you will need to be seeking some effective cures for hemorrhoids, not just something to give you quick relief from the pain or other problem of the moment.
Contrary to what some of the purveyors of over-the-counter short-term relief products would have you believe, hemorrhoids can be treated, shrunk, healed and cured permanently. You do not have to buy a short-term relief product every week for the rest of your life. Unless you want that “solution”. And why would anyone accept a costly short-term repeated treatment instead of a much lower cost permanent cure?
Remember that short term solutions are like band-aids and aspirin. What you really want is healing and curing your hemroid problem, then eliminating or modifying whatever conditions helped cause them, so you do not get a re-occurrance of the problem.
