How to test for drugs in your own home and the varieties of drug tests available. Sometimes, drugs are a heavy subject in a lot of house holds. As you know drugs are illegal and the penalties for either possessing them or having them in your system can be extreme. There are lots of forms of drugs, often with many ‘street’ names resulting in them being harder to spot, by non-users, in conversation.

Testing for these drugs at home
The main varieties of drug test are urine drugs test, saliva drugs tests and hair drugs tests, each type shows different time frames of usage; a hair test shows a drug usage over months, urine tests show usage within days and saliva sample tests show if drugs have been used within hours.
There are a lot of forms of home drug test kits available; there are single cassette urine tests, which are used to test for the use of cocaine, for testing cannabis and to test for opiates etc. There are integrated test cups these test for many forms of drugs all in one go, there are also saliva (oral) tests which also tests for many types of drug. There are also hair drug test which can test for lots of of drugs, however these are Quite dear and they cant be undertaken at home.
What should you do if you think a member of your family is involved in drugs?
For starters it is probably best to sit down with them and speak to them about it, remain calm and tell them that you are afraid for their health. If the individual denies taking drugs but you still think that they are, challenge them to do a drugs test to prove they are not on drugs. But, if they have taken drugs they are unlikely to do it unquetionably and unfortunately a lot of tests need the individual’s cooperation. In this circumstance it is best to speak to an expert.
